BIRMINGHAM, MI – MAY 21, 2009 – The Michigan Chapters of SIOR and NAIOP are pleased to announce the results of the 1st Annual Michigan Commercial Real Estate Excellence Awards. The event was held on May 14th at The Reserve in Birmingham. The final winners for the sixteen award categories were chosen by the audience via electronic voting. Categories included brokerage, construction, development, design, and traveling gun awards. “We are proud to have created this ‘Evergreen’ event that highlights the leaders in our industry,” stated Mike Gerard, President of the Michigan Chapter of SIOR and SeniorManaging Director - Midwest for CB Richard Ellis. “The winners of this event all aspireto be the best and strive for continuous improvement.” The winners are as follows:
